Gas Introduction
Silane, also known as silicon hydride, with the chemical formula SiH, is a type of silane. The structure of silane is similar to methane, with a tetrahedral structure. Dissolved in water, almost insoluble in ethanol, ether, benzene, chloroform, silicon chloroform, and silicon tetrachloride. The ignition and explosion of silane are both the result of reaction with oxygen. Silane is extremely sensitive to oxygen and air. Silane with a certain concentration can also undergo explosive reactions with oxygen at a temperature of -180 ℃. The reaction between solid silane and liquid oxygen is very dangerous. When silane burns, the flame appears dark yellow.
